PROCUREMENT STAFF
Responsibilities :
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluating their offerings based on price, quality and delivery capabilities
- Participate in cintract negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best prices, favorable payment conditions, and delivery terms that meet requirements
- Process purchase orders, maange orders and confirm delivery details with suppliers
- Ensure that goods or services are received on time and in accordance with agreed specificiations and in good condition
- Check and evaluate the quality of goods received, and manage the return or replacement of defective products if necessary
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including expenditure analysis, supplier performance evaluation, and recommendations for improvement
Requirements :
- Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics or related field
- Work experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management would be an added advantage
- Good negotiation, analytical skills, mastery of Microsoft Office or software and understanding of the procurement process
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management such as CIPS is a plus
